Frequently asked questions

Clear answers while the program is launching.

Courses are in development and provider authorization is pending. These answers explain what is available now, what the waitlist means, and how the planned format will work.

Launch and enrollment

What is available today?

When will courses launch?

No launch date is being promised yet. Course availability depends on provider authorization and final course readiness. Waitlist members will receive updates when timing is confirmed.

Can I enroll or reserve a seat today?

No. Enrollment is not open, seats are not being sold, and this site has no checkout. Joining the waitlist only records your interest in receiving launch updates.

What does the waitlist mean?

The waitlist is a contact list for launch news. It helps us understand demand for CCP, CCA, and the combined pathway. It does not guarantee a seat, a schedule, a price, or admission to a future course.

How do I join the waitlist?

Use the waitlist form on this page or on any course page. Share your name, your email address, and the pathway you are considering. Joining only records your interest in launch updates; it is not enrollment.

Format and preparation

How will learning work?

What is the course format?

The planned format is virtual and self-paced, with guided instructor touchpoints. Lessons are written in plain language to be easy to understand, and learners can send a certified instructor questions anytime, with replies within one business day. Each course includes 3 hours of one-on-one instructor time and a weekly live Q&A session. Learners will study lessons on their own schedule and use instructor Q&A, reviewed assignments, and practice exams for feedback and readiness checks.

Is the course completely on my own?

No. Self-paced describes the lesson schedule, not the support model. Instructor questions and assignment feedback are central to the planned design.

Are practice exams included in the plan?

Yes. Practice questions and readiness checks are part of the planned format. They are intended to show learners where to focus before they schedule a certification exam.

Does completing a course guarantee that I will pass or earn a credential?

No. A preparation course can support study and readiness, but it cannot guarantee an exam result or a credential. Exam and credential decisions follow the applicable CMMC credentialing process.

Choosing a pathway

CCP, CCA, or both?

What are the prerequisites for CCP?

There is no specific CMMC credential prerequisite for starting CCP preparation. The pathway is designed for people with an interest in CMMC, including consultants, IT and security staff, compliance leads, and executives.

What are the prerequisites for CCA?

CCP is required before CCA preparation. CCA builds on the foundation vocabulary, ecosystem knowledge, and professional expectations introduced in CCP.

Should I choose the combined pathway?

Choose the combined pathway if assessor preparation is already your goal and you want one sequence from foundation through CCA. Choose CCP alone if you want to build the foundation first and decide later.

Does CMMC Training Institute provide assessment services?

No. This brand is for training only. It does not offer CMMC assessment services.

Who leads the institute?

The institute is led by a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) with CMMC assessment experience, together with experienced instructors who work in the field. See the instructor page for the background and support terms.

How can I contact the institute?

Email [email protected]. Please include the pathway you are asking about so the reply can be focused.

Cost, pricing, and the safety net

What will it cost, in full?

What are the planned launch prices?

Planned launch pricing is $1,395 for CCP, $1,595 for CCA, and $2,690 for the combined CCP + CCA pathway. These are planned prices, not a sale: enrollment is not open, and enrollment opens once authorization is complete. Each course page and our full cost guide show the complete itemized cost.

What is the full cost of certification?

Tuition is only part of the bill. Add the ISACA exam fee ($575 for ISACA members, $760 for non-members) and the ISACA application fee ($200). The estimated full total is $2,170 to $2,355 for CCP and $2,370 to $2,555 for CCA. Most providers advertise tuition alone, which is why headline prices mislead.

Is the exam voucher included?

No. The exam voucher is not included in tuition. Exam and application fees are paid directly to ISACA.

How much instructor support is included?

Each course includes 3 hours of one-on-one instructor time and a weekly live Q&A session. You can send questions anytime, and instructor replies come within one business day.

What if I do not pass my first exam attempt?

You may re-sit the course once, free of charge, within 12 months of your enrollment date. The re-sit covers course access and instructor support for the same course. Exam and application fees are not included in the re-sit and remain payable to ISACA.

Do you offer training for teams?

Team options are planned: private cohorts for organizations, group enrollment for teams of 3 or more with group pricing on request, employer invoicing, and progress reporting for team leads. See the teams page or email us to start the conversation.
